Doing Business With Us

Customer Requirements
Having solved a wide variety of engineering challenges for more than two decades, NCS is frequently engaged to help address specific server and appliance needs such as helping to refresh an aging platform or creating an entirely new product.

Program Analysis
An NCS comprehensive product integration services team headed up by a project manager evaluates the opportunity holistically, from initial design and manufacturing to logistics and lifecycle support services.

Platform Selection
It’s time to decide if an off-the-shelf platform might fit or if a true custom design effort is necessary. There are advantages and disadvantages to either path but our objective is always to make a product only as custom as it needs to be, not as custom as it can be. NCS works with all the major platform providers yet has full custom design capabilities and all the engineering disciplines in house.

Design
From our perspective, all ingredients in the solution are open for consideration, based on performance expectations, anticipated operating environment, lifecycle and targeted costs.

Prototype
This is the step where NCS builds an appliance or server based on its best understanding of the customer’s exact requirements. Once built and rigorously tested, the machine is delivered to the customer for several weeks of real-world operational validation.
