Your ability to coordinate with internal teams, such as Finance and Receiving, to resolve invoice or shipment discrepancies will ensure smooth operations. Additionally, your analytical mindset will be crucial in preparing reports and analytics related to purchasing activities and pricing trends.

A detail-oriented, organized approach will allow you to manage administrative duties and support new vendor setup while efficiently tracking vendor performance.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Negotiate pricing terms and conditions with vendors to achieve cost savings and value improvements.
• Create and process purchase orders based on approved requests and shortage report.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm pricing lead times and delivery schedules.
• Track open orders and follow up with vendors to resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation in SAP or purchasing system.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Finance and Receiving) to resolve discrepancies in invoices or shipments.
• Support new vendor setup and performance tracking
• Prepare reports and analytics related to purchasing activities pricing and lead-times as needed.
• Mandarin speaking preferred but not mandatory.

Your typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, providing you with a consistent routine.
