POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The individual appointed to this position will be responsible for managing a number of product and service delivery projects of various scopes and sizes that NCS has won with Federal agencies, the military, and prime contractors. At the same time, the individual will also serve as the deputy to our Director of Project Management who is overseeing the entire project management portfolio.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage entire project lifecycle and be accountable for overall project success
- Execute project work plans and provide input as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Execute day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
- Track and report on project progress
- Collaborate with all cross functional teams to achieve a successful project outcome including the reservation of production capacity to support the project
- Assist Sales Operations Coordinators and engage with vendors as necessary in the planning, scheduling, tracking, and timely delivery of customer orders associated with the projects in which engaged
- Prioritize and react rapidly to short suspense deadlines
- Prepare project status and ad-hoc reports as needed for customer and management
- Identify, analyze, mitigate, and monitor risks on project and escalate as needed
- Serve as primary escalation point and own escalated issues through resolution
- Facilitate team and customer meetings
- Communicate relevant project information to management
- Resolve and/or escalate changes that increase risks which could impact schedule, cost, and scope in a timely fashion.
- Assist the Director of Project Management in leading and managing the team and serve as team lead when needed.
- Assist in identifying ideas on the improvement of various departmental and program-wide processes and document findings into procedures, work instructions, etc.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
To carry out his/her duties and responsibilities, the individual must possess the following qualifications and personality attributes.
- 3 to 5 years of related and progressive experience in Project Management
- Proven record of success in managing large, complex projects end to end
- Understanding of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel is a must

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
NCS is a manufacturer of custom configured desktop and notebook computers, servers, and internet appliances. Opening for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to build and document the First Article units and troubleshoot/resolve technical issues prior to release to production line.
Must be either a citizen or green card holder. ITAR complying building.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review First Article Bill of Materials.
- Assemble Notebooks, Desktops and Servers based on experience and best practices.
- Install various operating systems and drivers as necessary.
- Validate the load and proper function of the Operating System.
- Complete burn-in testing as needed.
- Resolve technical issues – as relates to fit, form or function.
- Generate all necessary documentation for each first article computer or server.
- Provide Assembly, Initial and Final test documentation for the assembly line.
- Provide packing instructions as necessary.
- Work with personnel outside of your group to resolve build issues.
- Build and Integrate Rack Solutions based on custom drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical assistance as needed.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The person appointed to this position will be managing a team of individuals consisting of both NCS employees, contractors, and subcontractors’ employees to perform the functions delineated below and report to the Vice President of Strategic Programs.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
To carry out his/her duties and responsibilities, the individual must possess the following qualifications and personality attributes.
- Proven record of success in managing large and complex programs end to end with a minimum 10 years of related experience in Program Management supporting IT systems, applications, and service related contracts (experience running Federal IT contracts with hardware lifecycle or managed services experience is desired).
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
- Understanding of the Program Management Institute (PMI) framework (PMI certification desired but not required).
- ITIL 4 certification is desired but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of studies.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The DSCP will have dual responsibilities. For sales capture work, he/she will be responsible for adeptly employing NCS value propositions to amplify and enhance efforts of an OEM to capture sales opportunities with the military and civilian Federal agencies where the OEM has heretofore not had any presence. The DSCP will also be leading the effort to develop win theme and tell our “story” for each opportunity by organizing and driving the content creation effort. The individual must possess and rely on his/her inquisitiveness to learn about NCS’ history, culture, capabilities, competitiveness, imagination, and creativity and use this knowledge to successfully discharge his/her duties.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Immerse in and learn about NCS and our business as much as possible in the shortest amount of time by engaging in conversations and interactions with colleagues, OEM & business partners, and customers to be able to develop a keen understanding for each and every element of our value proposition and how it should be employed to advance NCS’ interest on each occasion.

SALES CAPTURE
- Develop and maintain close working relationship with the OEM capture team, understand their strategy to learn what programs/projects they are trying to capture, understand their needs and challenges, and rely on NCS’ value propositions to help them differentiate their solutions from those of the competitors in all facets of Federal procurement activities and earn business for NCS as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or reseller, as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the same customers whom the OEM team targets to develop an understanding for what they need.Determine how NCS’ value propositions can be employed to address these needs along with the products and services of the OEM to arrive at winning solutions. Advocate for customers to take certain policy and contracting actions that would be beneficial to NCS and help measurably further differentiate the OEM’s solutions from those of their competitors.
- Nurture the capture effort through full maturity.While doing so, brief colleagues on the sales team who will be responsible for managing and further developing business after the initial capture effort is successfully completed and prepare to transfer all responsibilities and move on to the next opportunity at the appropriate time.
- When an opportunity arises of which the OEM is not aware, advocate for it with the OEM capture team, work to secure their attention and resources, and form a partnership with them for further pursuit.
PROPOSAL MANAGEMENT
- Get to know and develop close working relationship with various Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) within and outside of the company and rely on such relationships to gather ideas and details needed for the creation of compelling proposals.
- Review and analyzeSources Sought Notices, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs, with additional attention to Statement of Work, evaluation methodology, and submission requirements to lead the effort to collectively make bid/no bid decisions.
- Develop and obtain approval for a win theme and value propositions for each proposal and use such ideas to create outline, compliance matrix, contents, and schedule including project milestones. Make sure that each win theme is properly translated and documented into each proposal. Document technical solutions conveying our value propositions in such a way that is easily understandable, readable, and compliant with all relevant requirements.
- Understand and judge the ideation, writing capability, and style of each SME and determine the best course of actions to turn their inputs into proposal text. Such actions may include taking an active role in writing and editing or seeking the help of other resources.
- Supervise a proposal management team and oversee the production and submission of each proposal.
- Maintain awareness of opportunities available through third-party and government-operated business opportunity research/advertisement portals, personal networking, sales calls, tradeshows, etc. to align resources and schedule for proposal developments.
- Serve as the Point of Contact between the company and the Government for matters related to market research and proposal preparation, discussion, submission, award, debrief, etc.
- Actively participate in post-award protest decision making process and preparation of filings with outside counsels.
- Participate in metrics collection and analysis and provide input into Dashboard Reports to corporate leadership.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
To carry out his/her duties and responsibilities, the individual must possess the following qualifications and personality attributes.
- Creative in thinking with vivid imagination to be able to connect dots that are seemingly unrelated to develop solutions (technical, managerial, regulations, etc.) that resonate with both OEMs and customers.
- Strong analytical skills and must possess the ability to separate “the wheat from the chaff” efficiently in determining when and where to focus resources.
- Possess a great penchant for inquisitiveness as a natural personality trait with a love for storytelling.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English Literature, Political Science, Business Management, or other relevant field of studies.
- Demonstrable experience in both business development and proposal management in the Federal sector and preferably with an OEM, system integrator, or reseller.
- Mastery of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Must have sufficient knowledge of the FAR/DFAR and Government/DOD procurement practices.
- Possess a natural affinity for computing technologies and familiarity with the IT hardware industry in general including its leading OEMs, distributors, service providers, and products and services.
- Must find the development of win theme and value propositions for each opportunity enjoyable, exciting, satisfying, and rewarding.
- Must be extremely detailed oriented, well organized, and accurate yet imaginative in the preparation of capabilities and solutions.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for an energetic and driven Manager to drive sales in our DoD/USAF business and grow within our sales team. This position will be responsible for supporting the sales efforts of the DoD Sales Director and assisting in the development and management of NCS business, including sales, marketing, account management, and relationship building within the USAF. The individual appointed to this position will report to the DoD Sales Director.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a cohesive, proactive work environment with the DoD Sales Director, Sales Operations Coordinator (SOC), NCS Bid Desk, and Product Management Teams to advance the NCS goal of providing best-in-class solutions to the Air Force.
- Help identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities within the Air Force community. Provide timely responses to all requests for quote (RFQs), requests for information (RFIs), bid desk RFQs, and Air Force contracts that include GSA/USAF 2GIT and USAF CCS-3.
- For each emerging opportunity, quickly identify the Vendor partners that NCS must enlist to develop the solutions and register the opportunity with them as soon as possible for privileged pricing.
- Work closely with our Vendor partners, NCS functional staff, and customers to understand lead times, order management, and provide order support as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, tracking of all orders and providing feedback to customers on status, order entry during periods of high order volumes, and participating in weekly team calls to discuss won, lost, and open opportunities.
- Expand familiarization with Air Force accounts in order to create opportunities by leveraging existing NCS and Vendor partner solutions. Develop and utilize your understanding of current market trends and new technologies to assess how NCS offered solutions can benefit the Air Force end user while proactively market new and current NCS offered solutions to existing and new Air Force customers.
- Working closely with the internal NCS resources, such as Proposal and Product Managers on relevant AF business by managing NCS’ relationship with the potential customers and business partners as necessary and appropriate.
- Understand all the specific details of the customer requirements. Work closely with the DoD Sales Director, Bid Desk, Product Management, and Program Manager to fully take advantage of all support systems in place. Analyze win potential percentages, resources, and strategies to maximize revenue and margins.
- Work with Sales team to maintain a qualified opportunity pipeline for customer accounts within Salesforce.com.
- Meet face-to-face with customers and attend regional trade shows when logical for the business case. Encourage and coordinate customer visits for the DoD Sales Director. Communicate and coordinate with Production, Product Management, and the Executive team to create a positive customer visit experience while showcasing NCS capabilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience selling products and solutions to the U.S. Government (preferably to Air Force and other DoD clients)
- Strong familiarity with USAF contract vehicles to include 2GIT, CCS-3, and EITaaS.
- Able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Computer Product Manager will be responsible for working with our OEM partners, NCS sales and engineering teams. This individual will support the selection of products that NCS offers to our customers and manage lifecycles. SAP Business One is the ERP system we use to manage our product offering and inventory operations. NCS is also ISO 9001 registered and makes use of an Integrated Management System (IMS) to document and control every function of our operations.
The description herein including duties, responsibilities, and required qualifications and experiences characterizes what NCS would require of an individual who has fully grown or matured into the position. However, as an organization, NCS highly values individuals who possess keen intellect, insatiable curiosity, heathy ambition, and strong entrepreneurship. SCHEDULE AND LOCATION:
This position requires full time in-person presence Monday through Friday at our current facility in Gainesville, Virginia. NCS is also constructing and will be moving to a new facility in Manassas, Virginia later in 2022.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Review customer requirements and make recommendations on technical solutions based on NCS and our OEM partner offerings.
• Work with our OEM partners to manage the lifecycle of the products we offer, including end of life status and product transitions.
• Be ready to learn about and test new technologies as they come to the market.
• Support NCS operations team for issues that may arise during production as well as post sales.
• Support NCS quality department to maintain and enhance our ISO 9001, 14001 and 28000 certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Experience with loading and configuring current Microsoft Windows client operating systems.
• Familiarity with Linux operating systems, the more experience the better
• Three to five years’ experience servicing desktop and laptops.
• Familiar with current desktop and laptop technologies, specifically in terms of processor, memory, storage and graphics.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The person appointed to this position will assist the Production Manager to operate our production facility with a workforce of approximately seventy operators. Many of them are recent immigrants from Vietnam who do not have strong command of English. Therefore, it is important that the Deputy Production Manager (DPM) is able to communicate in Vietnamese and have the cultural skills to work with this community to distribute information, policies, procedures, and instructions, resolve problems, and maintain high morale. As its title suggests, this position reports to the Production Manager.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and prioritize production workflow to meet deadlines.
- High level of attention and focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Assist with the onboarding process of new hires & provide training to new hires.
- Assist with annual reviews for staff and quarterly training assessments.
- Work directly with warehouse staff to exchange inventory from new builds to rework returns while also communicating any issues / strategies for streamlining.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of Production consumables that are not part of BOM’s (labels, tools, tape, chemicals, rags, gloves, etc.).
- Assist in maintaining the manufacturing line to keep it function properly.
- Maintain calibration and testing schedules for tools and ESD equipment.
- Analyze and resolve workflow problems that might occur from time to time.
- Assist employees and their direct supervisors in solving work-related and interpersonal issues and serve as interpreter as needed.
- Administer company policies and guidelines.
- Identify and eliminate wastes and Implement cost-saving measures as necessary.
- Report and work with IT to rapidly address any issues impacting productivity.
- Proactively communicate needs, issues, and problems within Production and management to eliminate roadblocks to efficient operation.
- Assist with payroll and other administrative functions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in Industrial Engineering, Operations or Logistics Management, or Business Management strongly preferred with 5 years of operations supervisory experience.
In lieu of academic degree, must demonstrate 10 to 15 years of operations supervisory experience
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will be responsible for cultivating and growing relationships with responsible Federal Government and DOD officials and through interaction and working with them uncover, capture, and manage sales opportunities for portfolio products and solutions. The individual appointed to this this position will report to the VP of Sales.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus a majority of your time on customer outreach and relationship development, actively engaging with potential customers, setting up customer meetings, and building sales through timely responses to Requests for Quote from customers, bid board RFQs, and other relevant portals. On limited occasions, the Inside Sales Manager may be requested to support customer visits or attend regional trade shows when business conditions require and relationships can be levered.
- Immerse oneself in each assigned activity and create opportunities by understanding all the specific details of the customer requirements and leveraging existing NCS solutions. Do so by developing a keen understanding of the customers’ organizational structure, issues/problems for which they are seeking solutions, and NCS’ resources, capabilities, and ecosystem, and imagining how said elements can be interconnected to form opportunities and business propositions.
- Seek ways to position NCS and our OEM Partner enterprise products including servers, storage, and VDI devices for inclusion into customer’s IT infrastructure. Plan customer solutions that combine competitively priced and higher margin products to help enable the attainment of margin goals.
- Develop strong and close working relationships with the Directors of Sales, Sales Operations Manager, Sales Operations Coordinators (SOCs), and the Product Management team. Help identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities within the CES customer community. Enter and track new opportunities in Salesforce and communicate opportunity status with the NCS CES Sales Team.
- Work closely with the SOCs to understand lead times and order management, and provide order support as needed. This includes, but is not limited to, tracking of all orders and providing feedback to customers on status, and participating in weekly team calls to discuss won, lost, and open opportunities.
- Cooperate & collaborate with NCS Marketing and Vendor Partners to proactively market NCS’ new and current solutions to existing and new customers. Utilize your understanding of current market trends and new technologies to assess how NCS solutions can benefit the end user and thereby creating demand to drive NCS business.
- Encourage and coordinate customer visits to NCS’ Manassas facility. Communicate with Production, Product Management, and the Executive team to create a positive customer visit experience while showcasing NCS capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an inside sales rep selling products and solutions to the U.S. Government.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience selling enterprise solutions is strongly desired.
- Must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to multi-task on a sustained basis.
- Desktop VDI experience or exposure strongly desired.
- Must be able to project an image (through demeanor, dress, verbal and written communication, etc.) that warrants respect and deference from others.

- Strong analytical skills and must possess the ability to separate “the wheat from the chaff” efficiently in determining when and where to focus one’s own and corporate resources.
- Thoroughly familiar with sales practices employed in the computer industry.
- Able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales.
- Must have knowledge and experience with the Government/DOD procurement practices.
- Must be totally customer/market focused.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal networking skills.
- Strong written/oral communication and negotiating skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, science, or engineering is strongly desired.
