We are committed to environmental stewardship. As a computer manufacturer and system integrator, we believe the best thing we can do is to work with and sell products that are Energy Star and EPEAT registered. Such products use less electricity which does not only save cost for our customers but also indirectly help reduce the emission of greenhouse gas.
We uphold our commitment to the environment by understanding and doing all we can to minimize the impacts of our and our suppliers’ activities, products, and services on it. By emphasizing greenhouse gas emission reduction, pollution prevention, recycling, and sustainable business practices, we will not only be able to maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations but also fulfilling our corporate duties to the environment. Through education, training, and formulation of our policies and procedures, we are striving to foster a culture of respect and sensitivity toward the environment. Our approach is documented and managed through our Environmental Management System which is registered to ISO 14001:2015 standards.
We are committed to maintaining high quality in everything we do by documenting all of our processes and procedures in a Quality Management System that is registered to the ISO 9001:2015 standards. We continually review and update this system to keep it relevant and congruent with the strategic direction of the company, maintain high customers satisfaction, make sure the work environment is safe for our people, and reduce risks for our organization.
The NCS’ Security Supply Chain Management System is registered to ISO 28000:2007. It is a body of processes and procedures designed to reduce security risks and build a more resilient supply chain. It is also a manifestation of our commitment to this increasingly important security matter. Every supplier, product, and equipment that we need to work with to build our solutions must be vested through this system. It helps us ensure the integrity of the system that supplies us with products and services which in turn allow us to earn our customers’ trust in us as a secure, reliable, and dependable supplier.
As part of our commitment to keeping our supply chain secure, we are also certified to ISO 20243, also known as the Open-Trusted Technology Provider Standard (O-TTPS), for information and communication technology products. The O-TTPS, a standard of the Open Group, provides a set of guidelines, recommendations and requirements that help assure against maliciously tainted and counterfeit products throughout commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) information and communication technology (ICT) product lifecycles. It includes best practices throughout all phases of such cycles: design, sourcing, build, fulfillment, distribution, sustainment, and disposal, thus enhancing the integrity of COTS ICT products and the security of their global supply chains.
